How to 'Learn' Testing



Well.. that depends on you! I can only share my experience what I have been doing. If you are a fresher then I would highly recommend to go through BBST.org and watch all the videos. This is created by Cem Kaner (profession University of North Florida, U.S.) and renowned tester and thinker.

1. Understand about Software Engineering

2. Knowledge about SDLC, STLC

3. Learn about testing especially Manual – Different types of Testing, Bug Writing, Test Case writing

4. Roles and Responsibility of Testers. Same of another team members – Managers, Developers, BA and other

5. Programming languages : at least basic programs

6. Getting ISTQB – Foundations Certified
Testing:

·         Then go next to – Bug Advocacy, Test Design and other links at top.
·         Keep a note of the questions you have and later we can have a call for that.
